Justin Pietrobon is a highly skilled and dedicated physiotherapist at Head2Toe Physiotherapy and
Podiatry Brunswick. Justin combines a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and
physiology with a strong passion for healthcare, delivering exceptional patient care.
Justin has gained a unique perspective on the physical and mental challenges of injuries.
Through not only his experiences as an athlete, but in coaching, officiating, and medical roles, at
both pediatric and open age levels of sport. These experiences reinforce his commitment to
patient-centred care and the vital role of supporting patients throughout the rehabilitation
process.

Outside of physiotherapy, Justin enjoys traveling and has a particular appreciation for guided
tours, which allow him to learn and understand; principles he applies in clinic, with a profound
emphasis patient education.

Professional Background

Justin has a strong passion for sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, further enhanced by
his completion of the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, and certification as an Australian
Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Level 1 Coach. These qualifications complement
his three years of hands-on experience as the current Head Sports Trainer at Ivanhoe Football
Club.
Drawing on his experience as a Physiotherapy Intern with Melbourne Storm, Justin applies
strength and conditioning principles to injury prevention and rehabilitation. He is dedicated to
reducing symptoms, minimizing the risk of injury recurrence, and optimizing recovery outcomes
for his clients. His approach is further enhanced by the use of manual therapy techniques and
dry needling, ensuring a comprehensive and effective treatment plan.
Justin thrives on working collaboratively with his clients to help them achieve their goals and
return to the activities they love. He is also passionate about fostering positive health behaviour
changes, tailoring physiotherapy interventions to align with each individual’s unique aspirations.
In addition to his clinical work, Justin is an active contributor to the physiotherapy community
and is committed to continuous professional development. He is the lead author of a University
of Melbourne-led project titled Implement ability of Exergaming for Rehabilitation After Stroke: A
Scoping Review, expected to be published in mid-2025. This research looks to bridge the gap
between evidence and clinical practice in neurological physiotherapy rehabilitation.
