Do you accept Private Health Insurance (PHI)?
Yes. We have HICAPS facilities, which means you can claim your private health rebate on the spot. As a Member’s First Provider for Bupa, Medibank, NIB and HCF, you’ll receive bigger rebates and lower out-of-pocket costs. We also accept all other private health funds.
Do you accept WorkCover, Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) patients?
Yes. We accept WorkCover, TAC and DVA patients. You may need prior approval or a claim number to start treatment, so please bring any relevant paperwork with you.
Do you offer bulk billing of Medicare appointments?
No, we do not bulk bill. However, if you have an EPC/CDM plan from your GP, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $61.80 per eligible session.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No referral is required to see our physiotherapists or podiatrists. You only need a GP referral if you are claiming under Medicare EPC/CDM, WorkCover, TAC, or DVA.
What payment options do you offer for privately funded patients?
Payments can be made by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card on the day of treatment. HICAPS is available for instant private health insurance rebates.
Do Pensioner and Health Care Card holders get a discount?
Yes. We offer discounted rates for Aged Pensioner and Health Care Card holders.
How long are the consultations?
Initial consultations are generally 30 minutes, while follow-up appointments are 20 minutes. Longer sessions are available for complex cases or multiple treatment areas if required.
Do I need physio or massage?
Physiotherapy is ideal if you have pain, injury, or limited movement that requires assessment, diagnosis, treatment and exercise rehab. Massage can help with muscle tension and recovery. If you’re unsure, start with a physiotherapy consult — our physios can assess you and recommend if massage will help.
Do you have a Cancellation Policy and a Privacy Policy?
Yes. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, otherwise a cancellation fee may apply. We also have a Privacy Policy to ensure your health information is kept confidential and secure.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For example, shorts for lower limb injuries or a singlet for shoulder and upper back issues.
Do you have a restroom and showering facilities?
Yes, we have restrooms available at both clinics. Shower facilities are available at our Brunswick clinic for patients attending Pilates or exercise sessions.
Do you have water available?
Yes, drinking water is available at all Head2Toe clinics.
Is parking readily available?
Yes. Moonee Ponds has parking available on surrounding streets and nearby carparks. Brunswick also has local parking and public transport access.
How can I get there?
Both our clinics are conveniently located:
- Moonee Ponds: Across from the Clocktower Centre, next to Medical One, with tram and train access nearby.
- Brunswick: Easily accessible by tram, train, and street parking.
Can you refer for investigations/imaging for my injury?
Yes. Our physiotherapists and podiatrists can refer you for X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRI scans when clinically appropriate.
