After an injury, an operation or a long stretch of illness, movement gets smaller without you ever really deciding to let it. Stairs become a problem. Getting off a low chair takes a push. Walking the dog turns into a shorter walk. Exercise physiology is how we grow that back, in an order your body can actually handle.

Who this suits

  • Recovery after joint replacement, fracture or soft tissue surgery
  • Deconditioning after hospital admission or a long illness
  • Long-term weakness on one side after a stroke or neurological event
  • Anyone whose walking, standing or stair climbing has dropped off
  • People who have finished physiotherapy and want to keep building

What the first session looks like

The initial assessment runs 45 minutes. Jordan looks at how you move rather than how you describe it, measures strength and balance where it matters, and asks what you want to get back to. You leave with a starting program, not a diagnosis you have already heard.

How the program runs

Most people start with a block of supervised sessions, then shift to doing more of the work on their own with a review every few weeks. The program is deliberately short. A handful of movements done properly and often beats a list of twelve you abandon by Thursday.

Book the 45 minute initial assessment online, or call the clinic on 03 9326 0168 and reception will work out the right appointment and funding pathway with you. See pricing and funding for fees, NDIS, Medicare and DVA details.
